Speaking of being tired, our board has insisted that we take some time for ourselves. So we will be taking a 1 week vacation, to recuperate from our busy time in the US and to be able to feel refreshed for our upcoming assignment in Zimbabwe. We are thankful for this time!

Some of you have asked, but unfortunately we are unable to receive any kind of packages in the mail, once we're back in Zimbabwe. We have to pay quite a bit of duty when we receive packages in Zimbabwe. One time, we paid $100 to receive a shoebox sized parcel. So it's just not worth it.
New Project
We have some unallocated funds that will cover this project, so there is no fundraising needed. This project will benefit both the English and Shona congregations who utilize the church, and we know they will also be generous with other people in the surrounding area who will be able to have access to this water too. Obviously, this will also benefit us and all the children and women during all our children's events at the church. We aren't sure the exact timing of it, but it should happen in the near future.
Visiting Friends and Family
Prayer

Please also pray for those who the women minister to in their own groups. Each woman runs a group, though it doesn't look like the way we do it, each one is involved in some type of ministry elsewhere.
Please pray for our board members. We are thankful for each one of them. Each one has volunteered their time to serve JM2Z, while taking care of their own jobs and families at the same time. Please keep them in your prayers.
Please pray for us as missionaries, during this time of transition, during our vacation week for good rest, and then as we get back into our rhythms of life and ministry in Zimbabwe.
Please pray for both Yolanda's family and my family, as they are all around the world. We just said goodbye to my grandpa last week in Michigan. He is 101 years old and is slowing down, so we are quite certain that we won't get to see him again this side of heaven. Missing time with family is one of the hard aspects of being missionaries far away. We are thankful for the times that we have had with my family here and we are thankful that we can stop to see Yolanda's mom on the way back to Zimbabwe.
