We have two items of praise financially. First is that we have received another $1,000 for the vehicle, leaving us with only $1,592 left to raise. Secondly, JM2Z received a $500 grant, prompted by a couple who was introduced to JM2Z just a couple months ago. The Lord continues to bless us with unexpected gifts from unexpected places! How thankful we are!
We would like to announce our Spring fundraiser, which is going to be really fun! We are hosting a 5K Run/Walk that will take place in West Chicago, IL on April 18, 2015. We just uploaded a new webpage explaining everything about it http://www.jm2z.org/5k.html. We are looking forward to a great turnout, that will be a fun event for individuals, families, and friends. We know that most of you are not in the area, so what can you do? The first thing is please pray. We have lots going on in making preparations for it with many details. So please pray that we would be able to get done all that we need to do, as well as pray for those who are participating. Obviously it is a fundraiser, so all participants will be raising money and sharing information about Zimbabwe and JM2Z with others. Please pray for willing hearts of participants and willing ears of those they talk to.
If running or walking is your thing and you wish you could participate, but don't live nearby, we have something for you. You can do what we are calling our Virtual 5K, which will take place on the same day as we are doing ours here. This can be done anywhere that you are, by yourself or with a group.
