We treasure every gift that supporters bless JM2Z with, no matter how big or small. Sometimes, though, they come in unexpected ways. JM2Z received two such gifts recently. One came from a supporting church, Santa Clara Church in Eugene, OR. They took up a Thanksgiving offering, putting 50% toward their building costs and 50% to JM2Z. The offering was delayed a bit due to weather, but their gift to JM2Z was $2,213! Wow.
The second one came from Webb Professional Remodeling Services. This company was doing some work for the building of Westview Christian Church in Shreveport, LA. Webb wanted to donate part of the money they made from that job to a ministry, so they asked Westview which one they should pick. Westview told them JM2Z. So, we received a check for $6,810! Another wow.
Through these generous people, God is continuing to provide for JM2Z! We are very thankful for these blessings. As our time to leave for Zimbabwe quickly approaches at the end of March, we can't help but be excited for what so many people have been doing to make it possible. With what has been raised, everything has been covered, except for the vehicle (a 4 x 4 that can travel on bad roads in the bush), a container (we are looking into more affordable options too), and a 3-month buffer (we currently have 1 month covered).
